‘Help it raining cats and dogs! Said Sunny ‘Break the door’ said James as the car was filling with water. As sunny got his shoe he saw another car but in it was a dog and two boys then he looked at James but now he was holding her breath. Sunny broke the window and swimmed out, then James swam out too. Sunny swims to the other car.

Crack the window broke it was as loud as a fire engine. The two boys came out and the dog too. ‘It looks like the whole town is flooded’ said James ‘It really is’ said Sunny then they saw a boat coming. Sunny called out very soon the boat got there on the boat was two men Sunny, James, the two boys and the dog got on the boat.


The two men on the boat took them to a place with lots of people. Some of the families lost their family members. Then Sunny saw his family's and ran to them and took a long hug then Jumes saw his dad and hugged him the two boys and the dog went to their mum.

Predator Free 2050

85 million years ago NZ was one of the first countries to split apart from Gondwanaland. Gondwanaland is when all the land in the whole Earth was together in one big country - they split up and became the continents. This meant that the only mammals NZ has, either swan here or flew here.

Because NZ is an island with no mammals, the birds, insects etc became defenseless (because they had no predators to hide from). Maori and Europeans settlers killed lots of animals, and brought with them predators from other countries (for example possums, rats, stoats, dogs).

Those predators brought here by settlers, have destroyed our native birds/plants. NZ has one of the worst extinction records of any nation in the world.

NZ has been trying to control the pests by using traps, poisoning but it hasn’t really worked. We need to work together to control the pests.

It is everyone’s responsibility to control pests and protect native species - all New Zealanders.

A quite place

‘Wake up honey’ said Litia ‘ok’ said isi the two couples woke up there son fereti quietly they didn't make any sound because they were scared of this monster that chops people up when it heir people making sound and then eat the victman. The other family woke up in the other room. All of them were hungry and hadn't eaten for days. They were also scared to go outside and it is the only way to get food.


After days Isi got too hungry and went outside to look for food. There was a shop down the street, He went in to look for anything that he can eat with his family. He might not be lucky because people stole a lot of things when they heard about monsters. As he was looking he dropped a thing from the shelf he was very scared then he heard something in the end of the shop he looked to see what it was. He did not want the monster to come when he looked again; it was just a rat.

Isi was very lucky that it was just a rat than he looked for some food all he can find was some chip after that he went home and shared the chip with the other family but his family get more then something crashed into the wall It was a monster ‘run run’ said Litia but the other family didn't make they were chopped up and killed Isi family run as fast as they could then a helicopter land behind them they jump in it was the militaries. The militaries took the family to a safe place and they lived happily ever after.

‘Ah’ said Eh htoo now it time to wake up the others,keru,fereti and sunny woke up ate a little food and grabbed their gear and started to walk,On our way we found a mountain so we started to climb there was a little avalanche.



It pushed Keru and Fereti down but Eh htoo and Sunny jumped into action And grabbed Keru and Fereti. Now the two boy were dangling from the ledge fereit lost his graph with sunny and fell into the mist below we lost fereti ‘let go and look for him’ said Sunny ‘we can't’ said keru ‘it too wendy’ said Eh htoo ‘well look for him tomorrow’ said keru the guys put up there tants and sleeped in there sleeping bag.



Eh htoo, keru, and Sunny sat early in the morning to find Fereti. It wasn't long until he found his remains ‘Something has eaten it’ said keru The three men dug a hole in the snow and buried the remains of Fereti. Keru, Eh htoo and sunny worked on the ice as sunny walk the ice break and he fell in then he died the two left stand walk around the death pit and went back to the camp sit with lots of people.

‘Get in the bus or well be late’ yelled Britney ‘ok I just need to get
something from my house’ said big Bob then he leapt into the bus
as the door was closing ‘phew just made it’ said Britney. 

‘Now it's time to get keke,’ said big Bob. The two friends sat in the
bus for a short time but for Britney it felt like a million hours. She
started to get bored and played a video game with big Bob.
The game's name is Fortnite. Finally, They were at keke house.

Big Bob jumped out of the bus and ran to keke house. He
knocked at the door when it opened he saw keke all ready
with a colorful T-shirt  ‘You are ready’ said big Bob ‘Thank you
’ Said keke. ‘Now let's have some fun’ said big Bob. When they
got on the bus Britney told them to come next to her ‘She is very
bosy’ said big Bob just as the bus was about to go one of the tyres
were pop so they could not go anywhere just then they saw a yellow
taxi they waved at it for it to come .  Then the taxi came and picked them up.

Reflection of zoo

Today we learnt about animals that roam on houses or backyard and also we learnt about how to investigate their footprints and traps. But the best part was touching the skins of the animals that roam in the backyard like. Possums were brought here by an Australian man, Frazer came from the Zoo and he showcased different traps and also Animal skin. One trap left footprints and another trap left bite marks.
