Once upon a time there was a boy he was very smart he liked to read a lot his name was james. His imagination was great, ON one day it was his birthday he got a book from his mum the book names was time travel, “ Thank you mum where did you buy it from”! Said jumes “ I just got it from a weird and creepy shop just down the read” Said mum “ well i’ll just go and read my new book,” said james. James went to his room opened the book on the first page it said don’t read. The second page said I this is really a bad idea but he ignored it and turn to the next page. The he good smaller and smaller then a portal pop up he and the book was suke in. jumes open his eye he was back in the 1900s he was very scared but he open the book and read the whole book after he read the whole book the potle pop up again he sucked up and he was home.

keeping our school clean

“Mr Mike is furious! He went to the Deputy
Principals office to resign because people
are throwing their rubbish on the ground
and not in the bin’’ said our teacher Mrs.
Sharma. “We must do something to cheer
him up’’ but one of the students were eager
for the answer “I don’t know yet” said our
teacher but let's make a  splan.

When we were planning no one came up
with a solution it took awhile but at the end
the teacher came up with an idea of the plan
which was going to get some rubbish monitors
to pick up rubbish for Mike.

A couple of days later the school became
clean and Mr mike was very happy.

Colours tell a story

When I was in quick mud

“Hooray”! I  shouted to my friends in excitement,
my teacher said “sit down!! .You will be the last to
go home I sat down on the mat with an annoyed
look. After all the students went home my teacher
talked to me and said, ``You are the last to go home
“again’’! Then she said you can go home now.
I ran outside to go home but I saw some of my
friends crossing the river not the road. I wanted
to cross the river too but I did not want my mum
to know, but I crossed the river and got wet, when
I realized that if my mum sees my clothes wet she
might be furious. So I did not want to get more wet
I thought that if I crossed the mud I wouldnt get wet,
So I crossed it. Some latter the mud was getting
sticky and I was getting stuck in the mud I was very
scared. But I ran as fast as I could to get out I
struggle a lot. But I did my best to get out of the
mud after a short while I was very relieved that
I got out.

Rubbish

what is this ? it is people picking up rubbish at the school of tamaki primary school at lunchtime it was the rubbish monitors who packed it up with gloves and rubbish bags.

Te Tafoe

Bike day

On Wednesday the 16th of September. Me and the
bike crew had to go down to the hall to get ready for
the bike celebration. It took a while there were four
table to go to me and one of the bike crew did the
badges. The people had to draw something in a
paper circle after that they have to give it to me
after that I have to get the badge maker put the
paper circle puth some type of metal circle then
press it then I have to switch the switch to the other
way and press it again then take to the badge out
and it is finished our bike teacher was getting ready to.

The first class came I was exited it was room one it
was fun was them they made a lot of badges. Then
the third fourth fifth after that it was my class to come
it was room six my friend did lots of badge to they also
went on the bikes.

Last week on the 6th of September was
the Tongan Language performances in the
Summerville hall with the school, Parents
and Others were there to watch all the
performances and give money to good
performance. We were the last ones to
perform. We were sitting patiently on
chairs Enjoying the other Performances.

When It was finally our turn, we did our
Ma’ulu’ulu. It was really cool and fun
because all the parents brought a massive
feed for the school in our school hall.

After our performance we went to the
city hall to eat lots and different types
of tongan food. Me and my friends
personal favourite was keke,
keke is like a bun but has better taste.

On Wednesday the 4th of september 2019,Our whole school was having a Tongan games during lunch time. There were about 5 to 7 games prepared for the entire school to play the tongan games prepared for us (T.P.S). Me and my friends Keru and Mani where playing the first game which was called home run because when we saw it. It looked fun and exiting. # We played for awhile then the bell ring so me and my friends went to class.

Energy Saver

Today room 6 and had some room 8 people when we sat down our teacher showed us a very strange pedaling machine connected to a wire that is connected to two light bulb she said that the light on the left is the energy saver the name of it is led and on the right is and ordinary light bulb there use in your houses and shops she told us to line us in to two lines we paddled the machine around with our hand the led light lit up fast and we did not need to spin around fast but the ordinary light needed a lot of energy so we paddled around fast with our hand and it give a little light so it is better to use the led and to save energy.

On the Tuesday 3.9.2019 room 5, 6, 7, and 8 went to the hall there was a man named filipe tohi he came to show some of his art. Most of them are tongan he is a good artes he makes art in traditional ways. And show us how it is made and also about what is means his art is related to to a lot of countries most are pacifica his arts. Are made of of lashes that is made of coconut skin it is not easy to make the arts that made out of lashes because one art is about 100 to 50 lashes. When he came to nz he was a little boy he made . An art of a big eyeball to show how he felt he had a dream. So he told his teacher he wanted to be a kafu king and a good artis so he went to. Kafu but it did not work then he went to an art plase and it did work out he did not learn how to do art by. Himself he got it from his grandma and his grandma learned it from his grandma. He told us what jobs do. The boys and the girls do the boy make the house and the girls make the roof also the decoration. He Travel to China, Fiji, Samoa and make beautiful statues. His biggest art or statue took about 3 years. He showed us a picture of a very old monument It was the statue that made him make arts so he made better art and statue. Most of the things he made are made out of strings and rocks. It may take him years to make a rock statue his arts means birds, fish. He is old but he can still make arts the end by eh htoo wah paw and an art lover.

A food web

A food web is like a food chain but bigger. A food web is made out of lots of food chains. The photo uses the arrows the bond of energy contact. Food web show how animals and plants are contact in many ways.                       

Antarctica, Coral reefs, The Earth ocean

Antarctica is a big ice sheet animals live there penguins, Seals, Polar bears, Snow owl . Antarctica is currently melting because of global warming and Plastic pollution, this is killing animals and injured them.

Coral reefs
The Coral reefs are possibly found in clear warm seas. They look like colourful rock but they are animals that is made out of polyps. Polyps are small animals that are a family of the jellyfish. Coral don’t grow fast only a few centimeters a year.


The Earth ocean
The surface of the earth is 71% water and have five oceans, like the Arctic, Atlantic, Indian, Pacific and Southern.

the four layers of the rainforest

There are four layers of the rainforest the first
layers is the emergent layer it is hot wet and
winding not a lot of animals live there some of
the animals are butterflies and birds.

 The second layer is dark and cold a lot of the
rainforest animals live there. 

The third layer is dark and humid here it is homed
to small animals and it is also shelter.

The last layer is called the forest floor layer it is home to big animals like anteaters and Jaguar only 5% of the sunlight recharge.

Stop plastic pollution

Plastic pollution is caused by people. Because when they throw the plastic a way and not in the bin it can get cared by the wind and end up in the sea it is very bad for the sea animals because they can get stake in plastic or the sea animals may eat the plastic and die. Plastic can not biodegradable it take 500 years to decompose a piece of plastic. Only 4% of plastic is recycled.

Endangered Animals.

  Habitat:

People destroy and cut down their habitats to make space for buildings, roads
and farms. The trees, stones or landscape that gives animals shelter for
protection from hunters or killers disappear. The extra plants or animals
that are a part of their starvation may also declining as a result of making
space. The animals have to go to another different habitat because it will
become a very difficult time for them to survive. 

Hunting:

Animals are hunted because they are a massive source of food but
they also provide skins, fur, teeth, horns and bones.

Some parts of animals are used for cosmetics or traditional medicines.
The skins and fur#

 are mostly used for clothing and accessories and the teeth and bones
are used for necklaces.Rhino horns are like medicine for sick people.

Introduced animals:

Are animals that do not live in that habitat. There number
grow fast in their new habitat and then make lots of trouble
for the native animals. Introduced animals can pray on the
animals that live there for food. They can steal their shelter
and their food. Some introduced animals like the cane toad
cane be poisonous to some native animals. 

Pollution:

People violate the water, air and soil that animals expect on. Chemicals
from laboratories and farms can secure animals sick.

Trash like plastic, cans and other things in the sea can be eaten by sea
creatures that are not able to digest it.

Did you know?

Australian Aboriginals looks after the animals life cycles of the animals they hunt.
They know that they only need to hunt the animals that they need for food to
feed themselves or to feed their family. They make sure that there are more
animals left to reproduce the population of animals. Which means the animals
take care of the environment.

How to make a chicken vagatable soup

Ingredients 

Potato, carrots, cabbage, Onion garlic, One can of tomato,
one can of corn, Shredded chicken, Some butter or olive
oil, Seasoning, Salt to taste, Black Peppa, Herbs to taste 

Equipment 

A peeler 

a knife 

A chopping board

 a pot

peel the potatoes and carrots chop the cabbage roughly.
Dice potatoes and carrots. Slice the onion to peel the garlic
quickly. Use the slimmer trick. Put the garlic in the
microwave for ten seconds and will peel quickly.
Put the garlic into the pot put salt and pepper to taste.
Add herb’s your choice. Pour some water into the pot
and put it on the stove to simmer. Leave it for about half an
hour. Use the blender to blend the soft vegetable.
add shredded chicken on top

Enjoy your soup with a piece of toast    

How to perpning a cup of hot milo

Ingenit

3 teaspoons of milo

Fresh milk 

2 teaspoons of sugar

Half a cup of hot water

And a clean cup

Put three tea spoons of milo in to the cup. Put two teaspoons of sugar pour half a
cup of hot water stir it. Add fresh milk and stir it gently well then enjoy it.

Maui and the sun

Once upon a
time the sun went fast across the sky.

The sun did not stop going slow. Maui
and his brothers wanted to make rope out
of harakeke which was flax, to trap the sun.
Maui asked the people of the village to help
him make ropes with flax.

One day when it was night time maui and
his brothers were holding the rope and maui
and his brothers were hiding behind the
ropes they were ready to pull the sun. 

The sun was sleeping and then when sun was

rising and rising Maui and his brothers were
pulling the ropes the sun stopped and Maui
got his hook. He was wacking his hook on
the sun. The sun made a promised that he
would not go fast then he wacked the sun
again then the sun went slow and they lived
happily ever after.

In the morning my teacher came. And said we have to make poppy she said it for the ANZAC because we forgot to do something when we finished then we went done stairs with the whole class.Then we sat down and after a while we did the New Zealand anthem and the Australian one to then we stand there for minutes of Silence for the soldiers how died in world war one. Then each class was call one by one then It was our turn so we so we went one by one please a poppy then we all watch the people how rapped about the war then we went back to class.
