Oak island

Ring Ring “Hello” said jake it was juck and may they are brother and sister
“don’t tell me that you forgot about our holiday have you” said may. “On I
have not” said Jake he totally forgot “just give some time to to take a shower”
. “Well hurry” up said may peep peep may turned the phone off. Jake ran
around the house getting then he went to look at the calendar he was going
to Hawaii By America the jake got into his car and took off.

Finally jake got there to the airport he ran inside when juck saw jake he called
him. When jake got to juck and may Juck said ‘we're late let's go’ The three
friends caught the plane just in time before it took off it was a smell plane it
could only carry 7 people. After a few hours there was a big loud explosion
one of the engines was down and the plane was only using one of its engines.
Soon the engines were down and they had to land.

One of the pilots fainted so Juck had to take her seat. It was up to Jack and the
remaining pilot to land the plane down safely. Finally the plane landed on a
Mysterious Island no one has ever known this island before. There was a lot
of oak on that island so they named it Oak Island Jack thought that they
needed to look for things that might help them. So he told the two pilots to look
for things in the forest, Juck and Jake they looked for wood and may look for
food.  

It has been a week and there still on the island then they heard a loud ship sound it was from a very big ship juck and his friends help to make a help sign out of wood then they lit it on fire when the people saw the sign they turned and got them on board and took the home.

Predator Free 2050

85 million years ago NZ was one of the first countries to split apart from Gondwanaland. Gondwanaland is when all the land in the whole Earth was together in one big country - they split up and became the continents. This meant that the only mammals NZ has, either swan here or flew here.

Because NZ is an island with no mammals, the birds, insects etc became defenseless (because they had no predators to hide from). Maori and Europeans settlers killed lots of animals, and brought with them predators from other countries (for example possums, rats, stoats, dogs).

Those predators brought here by settlers, have destroyed our native birds/plants. NZ has one of the worst extinction records of any nation in the world.

NZ has been trying to control the pests by using traps, poisoning but it hasn’t really worked. We need to work together to control the pests.

It is everyone’s responsibility to control pests and protect native species - all New Zealanders.

Reflection of zoo

Today we learnt about animals that roam on houses or backyard and also we learnt about how to investigate their footprints and traps. But the best part was touching the skins of the animals that roam in the backyard like. Possums were brought here by an Australian man, Frazer came from the Zoo and he showcased different traps and also Animal skin. One trap left footprints and another trap left bite marks.

Technology

In Technology we had hard material which is making things out of metal. But first we had to make a plan to give it to someone. There were 4 choues We had to choose out of 15 or 16 designs. But we can only make one. After we had made the design we print it. Then we traced it on to a smell piece of wood. After that we make it by using a little chainsaw al one second the chan saw goes up and down 50 times. We put metal into it then we wet for the metal to dry out to then harden. Next we could choose to make it into a bracelet or a necklace.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Charlie is a very poor his mum and his dad try to leave as much food for their little kid as they can but there was still not a lot for Charlie grandparents lived with them on one bed two grandpapa two grandma one of the paps worked for willy Wonka the famous chocolate maker.

Everyday when Charlie walked to school he smelled the sweet scent of chocolate from the chocolate factory. 

On his birthday his present buy him a chocolate bar.

Then one day he got a ticket to go to the chocolate factory. He went there and ate a lot of chocolate and had a life of chocolate.
